The size from a retail kit I found was 27" x 6.5" x 3"

What would be the maximum? I don't want to cut to make it fit

 

here is mine..... I just dont have a bumper support

 

I thought the bumper skin actually bolts to the support

nope

is your car a street car? if so I wouldnt recomend not running a bumper support

 

yea it is, do u know the maximum dimensions that will fit without hacking up the support?

 

I want to say around 6" but I could be wrong.

7 inches tall. mines 8 and i had to cut 1 inch off the bottom of my support.

 

ya, 7-7.5 will fit ok. 7 will tuck under the flap of the bumper cover that goes under the radiator.

 

yes, 7" will work well. If the flap has been cut off the bottom of a 7" tall fmic will stick out the bottom about a half inch.
