I have gone thru 4 clutches in the last month. They keep breaking at the rivets on the disc. I dont understand, my transmission is rebuilt. and everything lines up correctly. Its a advanced auto part clutch. . they wont give me a replacement anymore. What should i do. The clutch has about 150 miles on it. They alwasy break around that area mileage. I dont race, go over 4k, i just driving normal to work and back. I serously dont understand. here are some pics.

 

damn, that **** looks pretty bad, i work at advance and they prob said that you had something messed up in your tranny that was causing it, they prob are just not that good of a clutch, i believe it would be a perfection brand, but hell in SC our computers arent linked, if it is the same there, just go to another store and have them call and get your "history" and tell them you want your money back so you can buy a better clutch

 

wow man your savy 4 clutches... maybe a sign to stay away from "advanced auto part" clutches.

i've used only exedy and it takes alot a beating and never broke on me. had it for 6 years with about 20k miles.

but just recently replaced it because i couldnt stand the chatter any longer...
