Default koni yellow/GC VS koni yellow / Eibach pro kit

hi i was after your opinions on the 2 different set ups

i have read a LOt of good reviews on the yellow/gc set up, and also on the yellow/ebach set up.

seeing as both are using a eibach spring, how would the performance differ? is the GC a progressive spring? is the only advantage of GC that its height adjustable?

any feedback would be appreciated.

thx!

I've had both on my car. The Eibach with the GC kit is not progressive -- I'm fairly sure of this, but someone can correct be if I'm wrong. The Pro Kit is progressive. Ride height adjustablility and the fact that you can utilize spring rates of your choice is the Koni/GC advantage.

If you want a moderate drop with an improved ride over OEM for a daily driver, the GC/Pro Kit is an excellent combination.

What rates are your GC's? How is the ride?

Mine's are OTS, 380F/250R. Still very comfortable.

Ah, those are pretty mild. I'm curious how it'd be on 400/400.

Sorry to take this a little bit off topic.

550 for the front and rear? how does the car 'feel'? Out of curiosity, why did you go with the same rate for the front and back?

^there are a couple of reason why you would want same rates front and back. but it mainly depends on how you drive and what the rest of your suspension is setup as. with a higher rear (than normal OTS setups) it rotates the rear more

i'm running 450 f/r and its fine. and per someones suggestion.....i might get ssp's from koni
