boost....
Pretty much all the name brand Known kits are good. It all depends on what kind of power you want. Also if your asking us if the full race stgII is too much to handle then you porbably cant handle it
well..im pretty much new to boost and im tryin to learn all i can now ......i prob wont be boosted for another like 8 months or so.........so you would say full race stgII is the best one? ...what comes next in line?

. If u got a stg 2 youd probably have to build your head and spend alot more money on fuel components/ tuning just for the car to safe for DD. so youll spend ALOT more money over all with stg 2.

If the car is going to be a daily driver lokking for modest gains, Id look at the JRSC.
Its a pretty basic conclusion we usually come to here:
If your looking for peak numbers and a 1/4 mile car then you go turbo.
If your looking for good numbers, daily driver/weekend autox then you go S/C
Most people do alot of city driving etc blah blah blah. Most "races" etc do occur on the street stoplight to stoplight. For that case the S/C has the instant boost feeling. We all know there are turbos with very very little boost lag. STILL it is nothing like the S/C.
Just some food for thought.

That would be me in one sentence.
Still contemplating a swap, but really, the fat torque "line" (so flat, it's hardly a "curve") of a well-tuned JRSC Roots blower is very interesting. I might get one myself in a few months.

Im probably going to do it for my EP3 too. I had one on my Singlecam 93 SI and I loved it. It made a big difference on that car.
Oh yeah to the OP.......BOV doesnt even begin to compare to the mechanical whine of the SC.

And a SC doesn't muffle the exhaust sound like a turbo does, either.

for a while as in it would be a good idea to upgrade while i dont have the motor in my car before the swap?
which brings up an idea.....would a lightened flywheel be bad w/ boost?

Yeah I mean, if you can afford it do it. Lightened flywheel would be nice too.
