Has anyone ever played around with a vafc 2 and it changed the rev limit? I know it's stupid and someone will write "Take it to a professional" but I don't see where I can change it. My Integra GSR hits 6521 rpm and rev limits. Also my "vtec pres" is not an option. When I click on it, it doesn't do anything. Should it? Help!!!

 

its limited to 6521? is it a fuel shut off or a rev limiter?

 

i had an afc and had so many problems with it just like you. i just got rid of it and i dont think i will ever buy one again.

 

double check all your initial settings.

The setting on my vafc 2 we prest to a turbo crx with a h22 with some 450cc injectors. I am running a b18c1 with stock injectors. I kinda had to fool around with the a/f settings. My car would of ran WAYYYY lean if I didn't I mean I am figuring out the ratio crap by myself. I mean after a week I finally started to tweak it here and there. I got my lean idle fixed for the most part. I mean this damn rev limiter/fuel cut off is killing my top end. I am thinking it's not so much a fuel cut off because when I check my settings they are set up to 9000 rmp. Witch the car will only do the factory 8200. I guess my boost isn't helping either. This damn thing keeps boosting about 8lbs. I only want 5. I have one of those cheap wastegates. (Ebay) It's supposed to blow off at 5.5 but 8 lbs is just a SMIG off from that. It has two vacuum ports on it. I hooked the both up and then one at a time. One opened the valve constantly and the other by itself didn't so for now on;y the one is hooked it.
