I have a buddy who has a 2001 V6 accord. He is currently running pro kits with koni yellows. He is wanting to switch over to Neuspeed Sports. Will we need a spring compressor to do the swap? I didn't think I would since I didn't need one when I put sportlines on my CRX. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

jack up the car and see if there is any play between the spring and the pearches, if there is you probably wont need the compressor.

 

I am not so much worried about taking the old springs off, but rather putting the new springs on. Thanks for the reply though.

 

The new springs will be shorter than stock anyway.

 

I realize that the springs will be shorter. That is why I think that I may not need a spring compressor to do the swap. If anyone can confirm this one way or the other I would be most appreciative.
