some header issues
i just wanna know if these issues are normal. i recently just installed a new megan 4-2-1 header w/ a "high-flow" cat. and when i first started up the car, it started smoking but later went away. after i took it out for a drive, it turned gold...or bronze? is that normal? also, i hear a metal tapping sound coming from under the car when the car is on idle and a few minutes after it's shut off. its coming from...i think near the downpipe or oil pan area. anyone know what it is?
I dont think ive ever heard of gold or bronze smoke coming out...the metal tapping is prob the heat shield hitting the cat. U can easily remove it and mold it/cut it around so it doesnt tap.

haha no man, not the smoke. the actual header changed color. gold smoke would look pretty cool tho. and i dont have a heat shield anymore. the metal tapping is intermittent...it happens in 30 sec intervals.

yes, these are all normal "issues". Your headers turn bronze because youve got some sort of polished stainless steel header. The tapping, if u say its every 30 seconds, i have no idea.
