input shaft has 1/8" play in it, what is needed to fix it.

the tranny is a Y1 lsd. the input shaft moves in and out 1/8" when it was in the car it knocked when u turned a corner. i know the noise is from the tranny, cause i swapped them out but i want my lsd tranny. i just need to know what parts are needed. i'll get them from gear speed.

Have you pulled apart the transmission? Possibly the input shaft bearing and seal. I repaired a damaged HF transmission but the input shaft would move side to side, not in and out. I replaced those 2 parts and it fixed it.
