Default HELP!

I recently got a '88 crx si with LS swap.....the motor is on its last leg, did a compression test and the highest was #4 and it was at 183psi. I am rebuilding the motor, and going to go boost. I have a few problems with the car, none of the gauges in the cluster work, the CEL light works, and the Brake warning light works, but thats it. The fuel gauge is intermenent and the temp gauge never works......What could the problem be? I have replaced all the fuses, etc. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Take the guage cluster cover off and check, maybe one of your cables is loose...there are 2 connected to that cluster....possibly the lightst that work are connected to 1 and the others to the other cable...I donno, I`d look it up in the manual, but I dont have it handy.

When i hit the defrost button, it comes on, but i hear a loud clicking coming from the fuse box? could this have anything to do with the gauge cluster not working? thanks.
