i have an itr head wth the stock valve train which i plan on using for my 600 whp turbo build. I was wondering if the stock itr dual valve springs & ret. were good enough to rev up to 9500? if not what kind will give me the best bang for my buck? I do not want to go cheap i just dont want to go all out on these parts, If it matters, I will be running stock itr cams. thanks for any help, please post links to sites that you may recommend.

I'm new to this site and i know this is going to sound stupid but how do i contact earl?
You must change your retainers as jared said, you can get crower retainers. For springs the cheapest way is to use portflow inner valve springs with your type R outers. This is good for 9500 easy. I have used this set up succesfully with toda spec B cams which have more lift and duration than the ITR that your using

so portflow inners, type r outers and crower retainers? or itr retainers?
