So yesterday I had to take a trip to Auburn Washington, it was pooring down rain the whole time, just a side note it's been flooding here in the northwest. With all this rain I've really been thinking I should get a short ram intake cause I don't wanna risk hydrolocking my car. So I was almost to Auburn when I was crossing this road that said, "Warning, water of roadway" so I slowed down and looked for lotsa water, but it was dark and pooring down rain and I couldn't see crap. All of a sudden about half a mile down the road, SPLASH, right into a river going across the road. Water went flying over the car, to the right and to the left of the car, and it stopped my car. Then my car turned off and refused to start, for some reason the lights wouldnt come on like the battery was dead. I almost started to cry because I spent soo much time and money on my engine swap and didn't want it to brake cause now I am broke. So after about 15 seconds the lights finally come back on when I turn my key over, the engine cranks and starts surprisingly easy! I was soo happy and thought to myself, that shouldn't have worked, it definatly should have hydrolocked. Ok, I'm going somewhere with this story, Don't TAKE the chance of hydrolocking ur engine, definatly not worth the risk!!! And I got 1 technical question, on the way back home about 100 mile drive, it started misfiring while I was on the highway and started jerking in gear, any idea what could cause this? Check for water in your spark plug chambers.
