Default obd2 to obd1 IACV (intake air controll valve)

IACV:

obd1 IACV to obd2 wiring-
obd1 wires are:
GRN = iacv-goes to what pin
BLK= gnd- goes to what pin

obd2 wires are:
blu/blk=iacv-pin B23 on obd2
blk/blu=iacv/positive side-pinB6 on obd2
org=iacv negative side-pin B15 on obd2

followed pinout found @ http://www.ff-squad.com/tech/w...g.jpg

is this correct?????
if so the would be only one wire connected to iacv because b23 would be removed to make room for B6. also B15 would be removed. doing so made it run code 14(IACV). we then ran it with B15 for a ground and still got the code 14.

it is also reading code 20 (ELD), could this relate to the iacv being miswired???

any info or things to try???

why bother? if your have the socket for the iacv connected to the harness then it should go right in.. dont mess up with the wire colors..

OK SO IF YOU HAD DONE AN OBD2 TO OBD1 SWAP SOMETIME IN YOUR LIFE, YOU WOULD KNOW THAT SOME SENSORS DONT HAVE THE SAME PLUGS OR AMOUNT OF WIRES IN THE PLUGS. THAT IS WHY I ASK. MY 99 DX PLUG IS DIFFERENT FROM THE 93 D16Z6.

Katman's picture is showing how a stock 99-00 Dx/Cx came wired from the factory. However, for a stock 99-00 Ex (5-spd or Si), there was only one wire and it was located in B23. If your car is a 99-00 Dx/Cx, you need to move the wire from B6 into B23 AND ALSO make the needed wire change to the actual connector for the IACV in the engine bay. His picture says "Remove B15"...you can if you want or you can leave it alone because it's not used in any way, shape or form now that you're using a 2-wire IACV.

A stock 92-95 IACV connector doesn't use a Blk or Grn wire....it uses Yel/Blk and Blu/Yel wires.
