my lsvtec turbo set up . 295whp / 199tq.. hella weak
lsvtec.
81.5mm bore
wiseco pistons
eagle rods.
gsr cams
Portflow head
GT30r 60trim.
RC 750 injectors.
Blox intake manifold.
Revhard log type manifold.
3inch dp
Crome Engine Management. * edited * didn't know i spelled crome wrong.
and some other crap.
didn't make the power i wanted. I'm planning on boosting 15lbs. we'll see how that goes.
295whp / 199tq @ 11lbs.
to dnr performance for tuning my car.

is your timing really really conservative? that could be a reason why both power and tq are lower than you expected. im willing to ssay that even if you are a degree or so retarded in timing it will make the noticeable difference (so long as you arent already at mbt)

open wg? whats that mean? i got a ghetto *** boost controller. getting a ebc this week and going back to the dyno.
Doesnt look too bad. Where is your wastegate dumping?
<Edit>
Looks like your making 11lbs / full boost late

He is asking if there is a dump tube coming off of your wastegate that is directed behind the oil pan, or somewhere around that area, open wastegates are a huge power killer due to exhaust gases being scavenged back threw the turbo

looks like wastegate dump issues from that dyno graph. curve looks good up to 6.4K rpms... def. put a dump tube routed under the oil pan if u dont have one already

i think you hear wrong.. ive seen plenty of 9/10/11 second cars on crome with no problems
for 11 lbs the #'s seem a little low.. probably really conservative timing

put a good manifold and theres your extra 30-40whp...
I don't know about you but i wouldn't expect much more with that setup at 11lbs..
I tuned a similar setup (81.5mm bore, same compression, portflow head, gt30r, but with tubular manifold) on crome and it made 371@10psi..

yea those numbers would sound alot better.. we did a stock gsr with drag manifold and ebay 57 trim on 10lbs did 303 with crome.. and it was still pretty conservative.. thats why i was thinking his may be a bit to conservative or something..

who knows....then again every dyno is different

yea i was just thinking about that lol
our #'s were on dynojet to but there are still alot of factors that make a difference

werd.
u have a pretty good turbo but ur manifold aint the best.
also do u know how much timing they ran in that motor?

im going to redyno on friday. we'll see how it goes. DNR didn't push it all the way. no point in tuning it for hours on end if i couldnt get the boost i wanted.
