Default sidemarker installation

so i have a pair of sidemarkers and i have the holes cut in my fenders... now for those of you that did this how did you get the sidemarkers to stay in the holes and keep the moisture out/prevent rust?

its a 4th gen im just thinking that moisture could get under the lip of the sidemarkers like that 1/8 inch that hangs over the fender...am i wrong?

i used a good amount of hot glue you think that will do the trick?

seems like you already did so you tell us.
from personal experience, hot glue can get messy.
if it holds then mission accomplished?

When it does...Use outdoor silicone.

Have you ever been in elementary school? and your teacher asks you to take down all the posters off the wall at the end of the year.. don't you remember them being held on by hot glue and all you gotta do is slightly tugg and it'll come right off?

haha maybe its just me.

i have those side markers. they come with a rubber seal that is fine. Absolutely no rust or moisture getting in, and even if some did i dont think i have ever seen a front fender get rusty.

well i used hot glue and they they were in there real firm, didnt wanna move at all...hopefully it will last

i had a nibbler but the either the metal or a little to thick and/or the nibbler isnt sharp enough...didnt really cut the metal crisply
