I recently got a skunk 2 intake manifold. I heard that its recommended you get a p28 ecu due to no IAB. If anyone knows about this that would be great!!!!!
If you have a gsr integra, get a type r ecu. If you got ls,rs,gs, leave it as is. I got a skunk2 mani also, and my car is a ls i left the ECU the same

actually I have a 1990 integra ls. But I did a jdm gsr swap in it. The intake manifold on that is kinda gay. So I went with sk2. I heard that I should use the p28. It has the p72 obd1 now. So yeah. SHould I get the p28?

get the p28 and get it socketed/chipped and tuned. otherwise it'll run lean.

that's just as bad of an idea as not chipping at all. the skunk2 chip won't be optimized for his engine either, just like the stock p28.

Im kinda confused is that company not good or something. I just wanted an honest answer. I have a stock gsr b18c in a 1990 integra. I am prettty sure I need the p28 with the skunk 2 intake manifold. WHat else do i need to do to the ecu for it to run decent?

PM IH8RICERZ het chips ECU's. That's where I got mine from. I have a 00 GSR with SK2 IM. I am running a chipped P28/P30 with Hondata. (Depends on what I am doing) He will tell you what to do, and you can get what you need from him if you want.
