not worth it...you will spend a lot of $$$ and get little gains if any because you are disabling the secondary runners on the intake and your torque will drop drastically. that manifold was made for the base and unless you are doing some serious work its not worth it.

so basically wat i think your trying to say is just to stick w/the stock intake manifold?? i mean i am going to change the internals and everything only one step at a time cuz u kno money is the issue here, but what other intake manifolds are there for the base model that will give it more power??? any aftermarket ones?? thanks

just go boost...if you really get into building you motor you could go with an k20a2 manifold but you'll need k-pro and a type s throttle body. but if i were you id either get a k20a2 swap or go turbo.

changing the intake manifold really isnt going to get you much gain no matter what manifold you put on it. the only way to make that worth it is to put a lot of money into your car in other mods. What you should do instead is start with exhaust and building the internals then get yourself a turbo kit or a nitrous kit. Then fuel system, etc.

That manifold is not worth it since you cant rev high enough for it to be of any use to the stock A3.

Like I said: stock. You cant rev any higher with those mods can you? You dont have Kpro so your not going to see any gains with the manifold. You have no internals. Your valvetrain is stock etc no cams blah blah blah.....need I go on?

cny is right you wont see any benefits in upgrading your intake manifold when the mods you have dont need it. If anything do that last. Buy a k-pro upgrade the internals, cams, clutch, flywheel, etc. then you will benefit from an upgraded Intake manifold.
