Testing waters: 1992 Acura Legend, bad HG in CNY
EDIT: IT'S A 1991, NOT 1992 AS STATED BEFORE
EDIT EDIT: I have local buyers offering $600 and up right now, just keep that in mind
This is a friend's car and I'm helping him sell it, I just posted in a hurry, but he told me today it's a 91. I looked it over, and the paint fade isn't even as bad as I tremembered, and there is only some tint-bubbling on the left passenger side window, and it's not even noticeable in the pics.
I want to see if anyone is interested in aquiring an automatic 1991 Acura Legend V6 with 100k. This car is stock, has NO RUST AT ALL (It's originally from Texas), loaded to the gills, and very clean overall. Located in Ithaca NY.
The Good:
No rust
clean interior (leather seats!)
Sunroof
V6 with 200 hp/206 ftlbs tq
all mechanical stuff OK except for...
The Bad:
Blown Headgasket, maybe warped heads ($40 to get heads machined)
small patch of faded paint on hood
bubbly/peeling window tint on side windows
With the headgasket fixed, (<$500 parts, but a lot of labor) this car would make an awesome DD, or you could make a killer profit selling it (assuming you do the work yourself).
Looking to get ~$750, but price is negotiable.

I'll upload the rest later this evening. I couldn't get pictures of the interior, as this is a friend's car, and he wasn't home.

Thanks. Like I said earlier, if you fix it yourself, you can make a killing reselling it for like $3,500 or so.
