Default a few questions

i have a b16a and its time for a oil change...

since its about time for winter... which oil is better... 5w-30 or 10w-30?

and my b16 needs 4 quarts right?

4.2 quarts.

As far as type, it is better to use thicker oil for colder weather.

Correct, 4.2 quarts for a B16A oil and filter change.

No, that is incorrect. You want a less viscous oil for cold weather, so it can flow easier on cold starts.

5W-30 is fine. You don't want 10W-30 for a Michigan winter - especially if you're in the upper peninsula.

yup stick with the 5w30 with a you dont want to go with thicker oil during the winter its gonna be even harder for it to flow.
