Just brought my '06 Si to the dealership to get a rattle fixed in the passenger seat. It only clicks when someone is sitting in it. Apparently I need new seat brackets and springs. I believe this is a common problem because the brackets are backordered, so they must be sending alot out to correct the problem. Anyone else having this problem?

 

I think I do... I got the recall card for the Psgner SRS crap so when I take it in I'm going to tell them all the problems I have with my Si.. Right now, top of my head I could think of 10 problems!!!!

 

My Pass. side seat is screwed up too, but not from rocking. The "skin" is folded and looks like it was sewed.. sowed.. stitched (whatever) wrong. Im gonna take it to Honda monday. It wasn't like that b4, only after they did the recall on the pass. side seat w/ the wire problem. HMMMmm any1else?

 

Mine rocks. Esp when someone is in it.

 

i notice my seat vibratin really bad while im driving at high speeds and the window is down... noones said anything bout the pass seat rocking while they are in it though

I took mine in wed for that problem, parts were ordered and they are already in

So i think your stealership is lying.

 

Nah definitely not getting screwed by the dealership. My service advisor is a good friend. He told me that one bracket came in next day but the other bracket was backordered and will ship on Monday. Also, while they were taking it for a drive to listed to the seat, they heard a rattle from the sunroof area and corrected that problem as well (Something with the weatherstripping). I thought I installed my visor wrong so didn't say anything about it but he said it is actually a common problem with all the civics so keep your ears open for it.
