Civic Si--SQUEAKY driver seat!! Argh!
My driver seat is squeaking... and it bugs the hell out of me. It's coming from inside the seat somewhere, anyone have a fix?

lol... I have the same problem with my passenger seat in my 1995 Si. I though I was the only one with this problem. I would be interested in how to fix it also...

i dunno how to fix but u could try and take the seat out of the car and look in the bottom and see what is rubbing and lube it up

I'm pretty sure that the sqeaking is coming from inside the seat somewhere, like in the left hindge in the seat.

I have a 93 Si. I have the squeek too. I pinpointed it to being the seatbelt buckle. The one that the belt snaps into to the right of your hip. If I move it sideways (towards each door) it squeeks. I keep forgetting to WD40 it

Yea I have a same problem on the drivers seat and wow, it really sucks. Especially when your shocks are harsh....
And the worst part about this is...when you have your first date and when there is a silence........squuueak...squueak.....(Am I just thinking too much?!?!) haha.

I think my squeak is coming from the left rear, not the seat belt buckle. It squeaks sometimes when I push the clutch in, or if I rock the seat back and forth.

I fixed my seat twice, cuz it squeaked from two different damn spots.
one spot was the bolts holding the damn seats to the chassis. so i just tighten all four bolts up. that worked until my seat started it again from a different spot. the second spot was the part of seat that locks into place. i.e. hmmm when u try to move the seat forward and back...it has to lock into grooves. it was grinding or squeakin against the groove. So i just sprayed sum wd-40 onto the grooves..and it was finally F%$#ing gone. btw..make sure u put a rag or towel under the seat so the wd-40 doesnt get on the carpet. hope it helps

same problem with passenger seat in a 97 hatch...i know its a common problem but is there anyway to stop the hood rattles or the rear suspension squeaks in my car???
