has anybody achieved 450+ whp reliably with 93 octane?

Just your typical noob question. The reason I ask is because I need to decide on a new power goal. The t3/t04e on my h22(2.4l) is dying so I'm going to replace it with some flavor of GT30 or 35. If it is rational to try to get more than 450whp on 93 octane than that what I'm going to shoot for.
If you have 450+ wph from your h22, what turbo are you using? If you think this is not possible or not recommended then can you explain why?

EMS and FUEL are a must and a good tune and anyone can make that
if you motor is stock i would worry about pistons, rods ect as far as if the motor can actually hanldle that kinda motor
but 450 on 93 is definitly doable

Is it streetable? How often do you drive it?

Why a GT35R? There are much smaller turbos that can support mid 400.

I don't have anything to upgrade really for a street car, everything is big and beefy. Except the turbo, which I pushed too hard and broke.
Is there any chance of making the 600whp that the GT35R is capable of on pump gas?

i made 470 hp on my old set-up w/ 93 oct gas...but it was on the boarder line of pump gas...ill be scare to push it to 500+hp on pump...
b18c1,84mm bore, weisco piston, manley rod, portflow head, gsr cam,top mount man,t4/t67 bb,etc....that was the first time dynoing the motor when it was built @ low boost...after afew weeks went to high boost after installing the 5 bar..

gt35E half the price of the gt35R

Look at torque not horsepower, since horsepower is a derivative of torque and rpm. 300wtrq seems to be pretty safe on 93 pump gas. People have done more and you may use water/meth injection to prevent detonation.

Not a chance without methanol injection.

Theres a fairly local shop that has done a few b18's lately on 93oct. They were running both built blocks/heads, sleeves, as well as motors with just rod/pistons. They ran 57trims and were making 400-412whp with hondata and ~22psi.
Assuming the h22 is built right, I can see 450whp on 93octane being attainable. It wont rev like the b18's, but it will have much more torque to help the HP number.

Here is a pump gas b16a with a gt35r that I tuned. 100% daily driven.

Here is a h23vtec set-up that I tuned as well. We hit 434 on pump gas then decided to run 110 octane. Unfortunately we couldn't boost more than 21psi.

So to answer your question, 450whp on pump gas is feasible. It's all in the tune.
