i was wondering if anyone had an address to a place where you can run vin #s to see if the engine is hot or not? the place that did my swap said its legit from a junkyard, but that they wouldnt get me a copy of title... the engine is completely clean and the vin is rivetted on to both the tranny and engine. i wanted to run them first before i try the whole bar and ref game. i went to carfax.com but it wouldnt give me any info as to the title of the car and whether or not it was stolen. i didnt pay a cheap price either. anyone know where i can run vins?

i can run vin at my job. But i dont do it for anybody.
