Alternator wire/Fuse box relocation

Alternator wire/Fuse box relocation
I did an engine fuse box relocation to the glove box. I have a question about the white wire that goes from the alternator to the fuse box. Is it ok if I just make the white wire go to the battery instead of going to the fuse box?
