Another thing, what material are 2000 Si OEM lip made out of?
EDIT: My car is dropped to the ground. with a lip on I am only half a coke can to hitting the floor. I know its stupid but I love how it ******* LOOK!!

Much more durable than ABS or fiberglass.

Not 100% sure, but I believe it is polypropylene.

EXTREMELY DURABLE!
My poly lip ripped off the bumper when I was going 60-75 MPH on the freeway, got ran over by my car and at least one other one....went back at night to see if there was a chance it might still be usable....to my utter amazement not only was it still in the same shape, it was in 1 piece too.
the only damaged it sustained was both tabs are now 1/2 gone, and has lots of minor scrapes on the bottom of it, other than that, it's now back on my car(being held down by rivets at various points this time rather than just the self tapping screws on the tabs like before)

polyurethane lips are awesome... my friend had a front end collision with his car and the only things that broke were the tabs but only like half of it...
yup deffinatly go with it since your destroying everything else.
Oh yeah, i thought id give more of my .02 and tell you the you should slow down for speedbumps/potholes/small animals etc etc

I have a polyurethane body kit on my car and it has held up to several minor bumps. The only beef i have about it is the fact that it flexes and spider-web's the paint, even under low pressure. Thus, I've had it repainted several times and it has cost me big time!!!
