Hurry need answer fast: question about azenis
I'm sitting at the tire place now on my wireless laptop getting my azenis installed. The tire guy says my rims are to small to run 205/50/15's, he also said that I should NEVER autocross with these tire because my rims are not wide enough. Is this true??
P.s. he's reading this over my shoulder so lets get some good tech answers

BS. If your getting them installed on OE width rims, there won't be any problem.
(been running 205/50/15's on my factory rims for ever...including auto-x) Never a issue.

...not the best rim width for that tire size... but for the most part he is full of ****... it will be fine as mine are... not to metion that it is probably the most commonly run size on the OE ITR wheel in the Azenis...
OK they installed one on a rim and he showed me and said look how much the tire is tucked in the rim and said thats no good. come on guys help me out
tell him that 225's fit fine.... hot setup for many autox'ers is 225 up front, and 205's in the rear, 5 mm spacer up front.
and tell him to pass the good stuff that he's smoking...

Where's your digicam, lets see some pics. Seriously I wouldn't worry about it, there are many people running these on stock wheels and I havn't heard of any problems.
I'll have to agree with the rest.
He's full of crap.
Seriously, though...is there really that much difference between the stock tires and the 205/50 Azeni's?
I'll answer that....NO
I'm running & autocrossing the Azeni's (205/50/15) and have no problems with many, many miles.
