timing

Default timing

to advace my timing i have to move the distribuator like 5 degrees to what side to the front or back of car and about how much is 5 degrees

Buy a timing light. As you turn the distributor the rpms will either increase or decrease. Obviously the more you advance the timing the faster your rpms will be. You can serious mess your engine up by screwing with the timing. Who told you to advance your timing and why?

cause i heard that if you advance it u gain some power not alot just a little but i dont know i dont want mess with my timing
