changed the CVD on the front both sides now something new... sheesh
95 honda accord LX no ABS
well had some CV joints going out so I just changed out both left and right CVD's. Figured while I am there I would do it all. That was in July. Now I got a vibration and almost like a low growl on the front right. That seems to be where it is coming from. This only occurs when you are about 35 mph or better. It goes away when you turn left slightly. Does not need to be a hard turn. I changed the right (passanger side) CVD just to be sure. It did not fix it. Just cant figure this one out. Looking for ideas. Hmmmmm, maybe power steering...naw that could not be it. Oh well. Confused in oklahoma. manual transmission 5 speed. Could it be that the tranny is low on fluid...I gotta stop. going crazy.

First thing I'd be checking would be the passenger side wheel bearing. the only thing that doesn't quite add up, is if it's the passenger side wheel bearing, it should usually get louder when you turn to the left, because that is putting more load on the bearing, turning to the right should take weight off of the right side, and make it get quieter. If it changes sound when turning it most likely isn't the axle shaft, especially if you put one in recently, and it didn't do it right after installation. As always, it's good to make sure all of your fluids are topped off, regardless of if it's the problem at hand or not....
I think you are right....sheesh.... I am losing it. The CVD were easy to replace but I think I will need to take it to the shop for the bearings. I dont have a press. Any suggestions?
