Default Automatic Seatbelt question need help ASAP

ok i have a 90 EX and when i bought the car it was working fine then my passenger belt stoped working and got stuck forward and just the other day my driver belt stuck backward and i have searched and didnt find any solution to fix it

I have went tot the dealer they said 100$ to look at it and if its not under warranty 500-600$ to fix it, now its only under warranty if its stuck forward but since 1 of mine was stuck backward they would have to look for the problem (90$), they also told me that since my driverseatbelt was stuck backward that its ok i can stull use it then when he told me that i told him he was a ****** then i left

I have also tried the fuse on the positive battery cable and that dosent work either cause my fuse is good ( i replaced it)

now does anyone know how to actually fix the dam thing cause i will be going tot the track on dec 2. at the california speedway and i really dunt think that my driver seatbelt willn pass inspection since its stuck backward so anyone

my next try is mabe try an find some more used automatic seatbelts to replace that POS!!!

No. Go back to your dealer. They must replace ANY malfunctioning safety device for the entire road life of the car as long as the car has not be in a crash. Simple as that.

LOL I never heard of that crap before about whether the seat belt is in foward position or backwards position determines if its covered or not . That dude has to be blowing some steam up your rear!! All I know is I work at a honda dealership and honda is funny about there seat belt warranty stuff they have no problem replacing a seat belt tensioner or a seat belt buckle but when it comes to the failed electronic parts of the seat belt system on these old cars they wont replace some of the stuff. Ive gotten in trouble at work becuase of replacing stuff I thought was covered by honda and honda refused our claim and my boss had to eat the bill .

Also I know you can call American Honda and cry to them on how they should fix your seat belt for free and 9 times out of ten they will give you a case #, give you the ok to fix and you take it back to the dealer and they have to fix it

Maybe honda reckons that if its stuck backwards its still functioning and you only want it replaced for cosmetic and comfort reasons... according to that pic up top of the page... maybe...

I say take it back and shove it up his ***

Can someone clear this up for me. I keep reading that they will repair the seatbelts for free under warranty but I have called local dealers who refused to fix anything besides the cloth part. I called honda of NA and they said it wasn't a warranty condition.

If I have to drive this car somewhere to be fixed for free I will do that. I am in Roanoke va and called Duncan (Hokie) Honda, and Rick Woodson Honda. Both refused to make repairs.
