just wondering cause im trading for a turbo zc crx today. how well they hold up and all that..

 

I am about to put my ZC in this weekend. Its my first turbo build, pretty nervous. I hear there straight.

are yall talking sohc or dohc?
i have the sohc (d16a) in my car right now
building a kit for it as we speak. it should be done in the next month or so

 

i am building the DOHC. goin to be stock motor, with small t3/t4, 450 dsm,s trying to decide what ems to run. and what ecu to use when i convert to obd1

 

well its a dohc zc. seems to run good. im just curious as to how much they can take . i ran 19-20 psi on my stock ls motor with just an fmu and never had one problem . i know its not recommended but i did it and it lasted fine.. im lookin to run 10-15 psi on the zc.. its a greddy kit with a tdo4 turbo. prob 15g i guess..

 

make sure you fuel that puppy, probably try to run it pretty fat if I was you.

yep i think that youre right ryan89...i dont think a zc has ever been turboed before. new ground is being paved here everyday on h-t.

 

i know a zc has been turboed b4 but i was wondering if anyone here had 1st hand experience with one .. im just curious how it held up and all.

it was sarcasm dude......there are quite a few, even a very recent frame off restoration IIRC

 

i know .. but i cant search for them cause the word ZC is too short to search it says.
