UPDATE ENGINE IS MESSED UP< TAKING APART THIS WEEKEND
New update, rods done, crank is done, pistons ok head ok

so long story short i need a b16a crank in mint condition if anyone has one

In the Delaware (felton) area car 94 white EG got stolen right outta my driveway. Long story short after about 2hrs of phone calls we found the car, left on side of road in newark and got it back, but a few things were stolen or broken

custom made charge pipe (ghetto but it was clean) had a vortech bov on it
rear deck lid
rear seats upper and lower (grey cloth gsr)
glove box broken/gone
ignition covers upper and lower gone/broken, ignition switch broken
AUTOMETER oil pressure, water temp and a/f ratio are gone as well
but they left the boost and egt (2 outta five aint bad )

i think we got away pretty clean if u ask me, the new motor was just put in it/didnt even have 1 mile of a break in on it. seems to have a exhaust leak which one bolt is loose, and a oil leak

now we are set back alot further, was trying to get a turbo kit ready for this thing, but now time to fix this crap and figure out solutions for this to not happen again, This is my buddys car that i was workin on he is away at college, that was a very bad phone call to have to make

I HATE THEIVES, just wanted to vent, didnt have enough time to post a missing car on here.

dam dude sorry to hear. So was the car driveable when they stole it? Better check over the motor make sure they didn't mess with it. You live out in the middle of no where I can't believe you got hit.

The thing about theives is that if they want it .. they'll take it no matter what. Daytime/nighttime, with a tow truck, even if you live in the boonies..

My cousin's buddy in NYC got his 1998 CW Type R stolen back in 2000, He had some type of theft deterant locking mechanism that locked your shifter into a gear.. Well, low and behold. The car was stolen and driven away in reverse during the day time,driven by a crossing guard as well other witness during the day ... Those type of fools just don't give a F*

yea motor still starts and runs, the stole stupid stuff, engine lookd all good and still seems ok, i couldnt check oil pressure because they stole that gauge and other stuff im just glad its back, better some then all gone

keep ur eyes open for a few things like that, and the guages, i have all the sensors still, but u know kids dont care if they want looks

Bump, It was my car, worst heart and stomach sinking feeling in the world. Not to mention i was studing for the biggest test of my life determines whether i get into medical school or not, and had to have this thought on my mind the whole night trying to study not know whether my car was completly parted out or not. Just glad its back, thanks for the support from everyone.

Like we said, motor is fucked, i didnt even get a chance to see/ drive it. alot of money down the hole. Help us out guys if you can.

 

We at FSM will be sure to keep an eye/ear out for you. Sucks man, lots of cars getting stolen out of Delaware lately. I could probably think of at least 5 or 6 of my De. customers alone that got their **** taken in the past year alone. Glad you got it back, but sorry to hear that its as bad as it is

yea totally sucks, at this point im glad it was leaking, thats prob the only reason we got it back, but it sucks more time money and the poor kid was already broke since in college, now he dont got a car either

Its definatly a learning experience.

 

atleast we got it back. i know it sucks it is int he shape it is in, but most of the time it is in a barn that is torched. rip jesse's 4dr gsr that i built.

that was a fun excursion tuesday night. i was gonna find it one way or the other.
i have gsr stuff if youy are interested....
gsr crank, and carrillo super a beam rods......

 

appricaite it, i guess im lucky.

someone else we know locally just had there car stolen last night too, blue eg w/gsr swap clean car, stolen right outside his place of residence
