D16-Clutch Relacement?? How to
Is there any write ups on this on here, with pics if possible, have a Haynes Service manual but Pics not really great detail on the clutch part.Hard Job to do? I'm thinking not? Have the tools the garage,a pit and a crane/engine hoist so shouldnt be too hard eh?
All you need is a basic ratchet set and 2 12pt sockets (17&10mm if I remember correctly).
The hardest part is removing the axle nuts.
If the haynes isn't detailed enough, don't expect too many to go into more detail.
-Drain tranny
-Remove axles.
-Unbolt and remove tranny
-Remove clutch
-Replace following proper torquing/alignment sequence
-Resurface flywheel
-lube bearings and shaft from tranny.
-reinstall

It's a pain in the ***.
Make sure you have some strong friends that can help lift the transmission into place so you can line it up to bolt it back onto the motor.
And make sure you put the TOB fork on correctly.
on me for that one.
