i heard to take it off with thin fishing wire and it wont leave like that sticky stuff is that true?? or whta you guys think i should do????

 

how do i take my off my old acura emblems to put on my new jdm ones

 

yup use a heat gun (or hair dryer-wat i use), a fishing string, and WD-40 oiL and itLL come off prty easiLy, cLean it off b4 instaLLing the new embLems tho....i did it for my friends SC400, its prty simpLe...he toLd me "no u do it, i might f*** up" ahahah

 

You can use dental floss.

 

i used fishing wire to take mine off my emblems and it left behind some of the glue. i just used my thumbnail and some goo gone.

 

floss was a pain in the *** for me... i just used a hair dryer and picked at it... after doin the acura with floss... it was much easier... then used goo-gone to clean up the mess and buffed it too

i dont know about the WD-40 dude, prob expletive up your paint... But use a hair dryer and some dental floss, and dont be rushing through it either, take your time... then use some goo gone to get rid of the adhesive.

 

Head it up... Then use the choice of wire... and use bug off to clean the glue. Wont harm your painnt and yea...
