Default 97 engine swap

Hello all, I've gott a 97 Accord LX (f22b2 engine), it spun a bearing today. What would be needed to install a 95 Accord EX (f22b1) engine into my car. Thanx, for the help in adxance. Kevin

i wouldn't waste your time trying to do a VTEC conversion. not really worth it.

I'm not doing it for the power, the motor thats in the car (blown up...) has 175000 miles, 2 rebuilds thus far, and the tranny needs work also, I can get the 95 vtec motor and 5spd trans, uncut harness, and ecu for $500 bucks and it only has 30000 miles on it. I was told there wouldn't be much involved, but I was looking for someone that had already done it... for some advice

it will just drop ryt in R&R + vtec wiring

R&R??? what will need to be done with the wiring?, I was hoping to be able to swap the ecu, and the wiring would plug right in (I know I was hoping for alot...) Thanx, Kevin

R&R remove and replace you will need to wire Vtec is A4 and Vtec pressure switch is D6. The black wire in the vtec pressure switch goes to ground.

and if you gotta swap pins a6 and a11 cuz the POA ecu has the o2 and egr swapped if your using that ecu

I'm not sure what ecu it comes with, I will hopefully be able to go and get it this weekend. my uncle found it where he lives (about 3 hours away...)

have you listed eveything that I will need to change, or is there more? if so, could you please tell me.? do these things have to be done before I install the engine, or could they be done afterwards? thanx again... Kevin
