B16a1 Dizzy......
I am not sure if this is in the right section or not so please feel free to move it if need be.
I have a b16a1 head but before I actually found out what head I had I bought a cap and rotor for a b16a2. My car is not getting spark and everyone has suggested I pull the dizzy and replace the cap and rotor. So this is what I have done. However my question is will it hurt anything if I use the cap and rotor I just purchased? I have gone over everything and they look the exact same. The only thing is I have an msd blaster coil and the top part of my cap looks to be drilled out to accomodate a piece for the coil. Could I do the same thing to the new cap? I appreciate any and all help...

I don't know if you can drill iit, but before you try to drill it out, why dont you put the stock coil back in & see if it gets spark that way with the new cap & rotor. Worth a try since you have a stock cap & rotor on hand.
