Whats Goin On? Problem Question w/ Pics!
The other day when i was driving it felt like my front right caliper was hittin something so i took off the tire today and it looks like this. It only "hits" when i accelerate (which is weird) and when i turn. It doesnt affect my braking. just when i accelerate my steerin wheels turns HARD to the right? Whats goin on? (besides a lot of ugly and dirty

whats the axle look like?
looked exactly what mine looked like when my axle boot ripped shooting grease everywhere...but with broken axle ud only feel when turning so im not sure wat that is..

i replaced the tie rod and i dont think that did anything. so.. i need to replace the ball joint i guess

Jack up the car and wiggle the tire around and see if you have play anywhere. Top to bottom, and left to right.
Halfshafts maybe... Just grab the halfshaft and see if it has play It should have just a touch if any.
Also check your radius arm bushings. The rod that goes to the front crossmember. If that bushing is shot it will pull on accelleration.

Thanks martin, that sounds like what it might be.. i just noticed that my crossmember is cracked

you need to replace the outter tie rod end. not the tie rod its self... it is obvious that ball joint is fucked.

i replaced all of that..
Is there supposed to be any play with the halfshaft? from the tranny, it can come out about 1/2 in then back in...

x2 on the radius arm. I had an integra with unbelievable torque steer and I found it to be no bushings on one radius arm where it bolts into crossmember. New bushings and it felt perfect thereafter!
