Default Dynomax 38009 4-1 Header?

http://store.summitracing.com/...w=sku

After alot of reading I decided NOT to go with an e-bay header. How about the Dynomax 4-1 unit above? I have a D15B7 1.5L SOHC non-VTEC motor.

Also... why is a 4-1 more expensive? Is it better for more power? Seems like it would flow better than a 4-2-1 design by looking at it. Keep in mind I would like to supercharge this car down the line and want this header to work for that too.

Thanks all.

For a non boosted D series, a header is a header. Bolt ons dont do much for that series.

Oh Yeah, As far as Flow is concerned

A 4-1 will provide more top end power with the slight loss of mid-low torque.

A 4-2-1 should give you smaller gains in the mid and high end with no loss in torque.

Good luck.

Excellent, thanks.

Is a 4-1 probably the better option for supercharging? For now it'll just be intake and exaust mods... but a supercharger is coming later.
