Default Fitting Rear Valences

I just bought type r style rear valences for my 00 ls.. they come pre drilled.. i also have jdm type r style side skirts.. i am getting my car painted and i just dont know what the best way to go about this is.. should i drill my skirts now and have them painted off of the car or should i fit everything onto my car and then have it painted... i dont want to spiderweb or crack my paint on the bumper by drilling it after its painted.. so any advice or personal experience would be greatly appreciated.

It would be best to have them painted off the car. But you could do the drilling for them now so all you will have to do is bolt them on after its painted.

i would pre-drill the skirts but have them painted off the car. that way if you had them on the car and painted the underside would still be the old color. if you are doing a complete color change this would look like utter crap if you decided to change/remove the skirts down the line and you have mismatched colors where the skirts once were.
