having trouble with rain water
I have a vented hood, and the vents are located right on top of the valve cover. When it rains the water runs right down into the valve cover and down inside the spark plug tubes. Then it starts missing and it is a pain to get the water back out. Does anyone know of a fix that is out there?
get a diff hood lol. no but your hood should have come with a block off plate for the vent. just put that on in rainy days. if not rig up some kinda gasket to go around the spark plug cover. home depot

A hole right above the valve cover??? What is the point of that?
A hole above the exhaust would be a lot more efficient at releasing heat....I'd get another hood or block off the vents.

I like the way that the hood looks and I can't afford to buy another hood. I don't really want to rig some **** up from lowes or home depot either. Is their not a company that makes a block-off plate for the h23 or something that would cover the whole valve cover?
