Default Fuel Rail/Pressure Regulator?

I'm looking to upgrade the OEM Fuel Rail and Fuel Pressure Regulator. However, I'm not sure which brand I should be going with.

I know AEM is very popular, but are there other companies I should be looking at that maybe make a better product?

Keep in mind this will be going on a built/forged/sleeved/P&P H22A4 engine designed for high (~20-30PSI) boost. So I need something good here.

Thanks!

I use the aem fuel rail and regulator on my turbo lude and it does a good job. If it is proven to work go with it.

What about AC AutoTechnique? (spl?)

And is there any modification required to make this fit to the OEM fuel ports? Or is a straight forward process of taking the injectors our, swaping the rail and poping it all back in place? What about the Regulator?

upgrading the fuel rail is pointless. I have one and wish i wouldnt have spent that 100+ dollars on it. however it does look good

MANY 500-600+whp honda's run a stock fuel rail.

FPR, i would go with Aeromotive.

What about AEM's universal FPR? Would that work on the OEM fuel Rail? What's required to make a FPR fit/work on the OEM rail? Isn't it easier to get an aftermarket rail?

That Synapse FPR looks fawkin nice! wow!

When i swapped in my H22a, i could not get the Golden Eagle to fit........ so i went with AEM and it worked just fine..... I have a B&M FPR and it bolted up fine to both the stock rail and the AEM rail.......

another advantage to having an aftermarket rail is that it makes it easy to hook up a Pressure Gauge

The B&M regulator is **** and still uses the stock diaphram. Basically it is just a spring that increases pressure.

I've had 50/50 results with these units in conjunction to running the walbro HP fuel pumps. I would go AEM or Aeromotive

i ahve heard about all these problems with the B&M but i have had mine for going on 5 years with no problems. But yes, it is very limited. You can only raise the fuel pressure.

I'd go with the AEM. I had both the FPR and the fuel rail on my H22 with no problems. Incidentally, I no longer need them and need to sell.
