ITR steering wheel in EG?

Default Just wanted to make sure...

I was looking at the old posts but just wanted to make sure..USDM ITR Steering wheels will bolt directly into an eg correct?

from what i was reading they fit also..but jdm ones are too pricey for me..haha

The only thing you'd need with a JDM ITR (at least the non-SRS one) is a little spacer between the wheel and the column. I used a pair of washers stuck together, and that worked fine.

Edit: Actually, some modification to the back of the steering wheel where it meets the column might be required. I bought mine from someone who had already done everything to make it work, so I'm not 100% sure. I do know the splines are the correct size and will fit fine that way.

Huh? I didn't have to do anything. Just remove old wheel and stick on JDM ITR wheel.

Mine had a gap between where the back of the wheel met the column and where the nut ended. It's a little hard to describe, but without that spacer, it seemed like the wheel would've wobbled around a bunch, even bolted down.
