so i was changing the springs today and i noticed that my sway bar has been sorta ripped from the rubber insert (or something)...i think I've been driving like this for awhile...just wanted to know if it would be ok to drive like this for now until i get a new one...and i might as well go for the ITR 22mm sway bar now that this happened...oh and i have the megan lower control arm

second question...
do i need to install the oem lower contol arms back so i can put the ITR sway bar?..

you will need to get a new endlink, and your car will probably not handle too well in the back for the time being until you get the new 22mm sway bar
Looks like an install problem....the bolt is suppose to mush the rubber so it wont pop out like that. All the same, the ITR sway should bolt right up to the same location that is on those LCAs.
you will be fine, just dont go driving all extreme like, remember, your sway bar is only connected to one side. you can also buy a new mount for it, unless your set on getting the ITR
and no, you dont need to switch to oem control arms for ANY swaybar setup.

To those who say "just dont drive aggressively," keep in mind that a civic doesnt even have a stock sway bar and has pretty soft springs, so its not like the sway bar is a must have, necessary item. I've driven without one on my integra and its really not all that much different....especially with stiff springs that dont allow the car to roll that much anyway.

i just went from the eibach 1.7 drop to the neuspeed 2.00 inch drop, after driving with the sway bar like this, i still feel the car very rigid and stiff, do you guys think that by buying the ITR sway bar it will be alot stiffer?.....i have been told that i have to buy some sort of kit to mount the ITR sway bar
thank you guys alot for the help, i greatly appreciated

Using a 22mm sway bar with stock springs is known for ripping the mount out of the subframe. However with the use of stiffer springs, the body doesnt roll as much, thus the sway bar (really an anti-sway bar) doesnt have to do as much work....thus stiffer springs decrease the load and stress on the sway bar. You will also notice a much larger difference in the 22mm sway on softer springs then you will on stiff springs. Thus, you might not notice too much of a difference while other people might notice a huge amt. I think the larger sway still helps a good bit with "stiff" springs so I wouldnt say not to upgrade, just that it might not be the night and day difference that some people lead it on to be.
U can drive like that but dont drive crazy and be doin to many hard turn... also if u have the money u should go for the comptech rear sway bar.
