Setup:

t3/t04e 57 trim .63ar
drag cast iron manifold
hondata S300
2.5" downpipe and exhaust
tial 38mm wastgate with 8.7psi spring (vacuum line from wastegate to GE vacuum box)

The car was dynoed at DSR a few months back and made 282whp 182wtq at 8.7psi..no problems with creep/spike on the dyno. While driving it one day I went to make a 4th gear pull and soon as I hit 6,500rpm the car immediately shut down and I saw the check engine light flash....(thanks to boost cut on S300)...what's weird is that it won't creep/spike in gears 1 through 3 but it will do it every time in 4th.. anyone have any ideas? Help!!

try changing that vacuum source for the wastegate. Im running a similar setup as you and Im running the same manifold with a smaller 35mm wastegate. I have the vacuum line for the wastegate plumbed into the compressor side of the turbo. I run 10psi all the time on my setup from the wastegate spring and never once have I experienced boost creep. Alot of people say that larger exhausts and downpipes with the drag kit make it start to creep but you are running a smaller exhaust.

thanks, I'll change the vacuum source this weekend and see what happens.
