JDM Recaro owners.
I just put in my jdm recaros and I have two questions.
1) Did anyone extend the plug from under the drivers side and plug it into the plug on the passenger side? What does that plug do?
2) Do I need a longer bolt for the rear left hole on the passenger side? There is a block that makes it too long for my stock bolt to go in.

Speaking from experience owning both DC2 and DC5 Recaros. The plug you are talking about is for the seatbelt warning light. Right now it's on your passenger side. You can swap it over to the driver side by depinning the plug, unbolting it from the passenger side, bolting it on to the driver side, and repinning it. The depinning and repinning avoids cutting the wires.
Yes, you will need longer bolts for the inner rear brackets.
