i stuck a ls-v in my 89 crx and am having a problem with the idle.when any time i am cruzing down the freeway or street between 1500 and 2000 rpm my car starts jumping,like i was feathering the throttle.when i keep at 1500 when im parked the rpm jumps back and forth. i dont have the right o2 senser on it right now but can that be the problem?

Are u saying ur idle is surging from 1500-2000 rpms?Does it do this when the car is warm of cold, or both? Does the car bog when u give it gas? Try cleaning ur IACV and FITV.

 

it basicly jerks back and forth when i try to keep it at 1500 rpm.when i give it gas it does fine,cold or warm but, its when i try to just cruz at 1500 to 2500.the car starts to jerk back and forth. i will try to clean the iacv and the iftv.

may i ask what is the best way to clean it sir? thanx

get the right 02, and get it tuned
