Haha ...yeah, the old bat trick.

With all due respect (yes I do know the meaning of the word), ... I've seen Track Rat's work on his rear fender lips with what was presumably one of those wooden sticks. Ed

Remember that fender rolling can trap dirt/debris inside the roll encouraging rust/corrosion, as well as weaken the panel, making it more susceptable to dents/dings...

(Didn't stop me from doing it to my convertable though....)

Looks like some guy built one (or two) and is renting them out.

Tirerack used to rent them out for free, but i think that so many people 'forgot' to return them, they stopped doing it.

I was going to ask about this.... Stupid Azenis are actually bigger than they say they are... So now I have a rub in the back under a heavy load...

I've been using one of those for years. Curry's has one available. I will warn you though that it is equally as easy to crack paint with this as it is with the bat method.

Your best chance is when the paint is fairly new, and warmed up with a heat gun. Me? I don't give a ****, and I have paint missing all around the fenders.

Should I maybe get a grinder or a dremel tool and buzz the lip away instead?

Problem with that is that it leaves a thin sheetmetal edge. I prefer to have a rolled edge, in case the tire deflects enough to contact the edge.

rubbing is better than cutting
