compression questions

i have been looking around at some more performance upgrades for my car. considering going into the head before i go for the full build, just to scratch my itch for now.
my question involves compression ratio.
1. what is the stock compression ratio on a gsr?
2. is there a formula to translate increased compression to HP?
3. will the stock rings hold up to higher compression?
4. if so, to what extent?
supertech dual valve springs, Ti retainers, and high compression valves is what i was looking at. not looking for a super aggressive cam. CTR will do fine. also the mugen head gasket. just considering the valves and head gasket will bring up the compression by 1 almost point. at what compression is it no longer safe to run stock rings. or is that even a concern. what numbers would be reasonable expectation (with appropriate injector setup and tune) at this point? eventually i would like to bore the block .25 and port and polish the head. for now just seeing what i can do prior to full blown. i plan on staying N/A so these mods will be salvaged when i p&p and bore.
in short, i am looking for some safe fun. is this the setup for me?

I will not be able to answer all your questions but i'll do the best i can.
1. 10.0:1 compression on stock gsr
3. Your stock rings will be fine with the higher compression. Just make sure they are holding up fine now. Compression and leak down test will be a good idea.
For Titanium retainers i would inspect regulary for wear. There have been a few threads in the All Motor section where people have had problems.
