Let's talk about Nuts.
Lug Nuts that is... for a set of Rota C-8's...
Street aplication, no extended studs or anything.
Generic Lugs, light weight aluminum ones, the kyougen(sp) hexagon ones, Spoon?
Advantages? Dis-Advantages?
I do proper torquing, anyone have problems or storys?
Opinions please...

A lot of people dont like the kyokugens because supposedly the key is easy to strip...
IMO, theyre light, theyre small diameter and theyre cheap. Just be careful, and dont use air tools with them.

I have a new set of lug nuts that will be here this weekend, hopefully. They are manufactured by the same company that makes the Rays lug nuts...I was lucky enough to talk someone into sending me a trial set before they were imported into the states...should be available mid-June. I'll have pics for everyone by next week, hopefully.

What ever you get put some anti-sieze on the studs.

I have a set of Kyokugens because I couldnt justify spending nearly triple on a set of volk lugnuts. As long as you dont use an impact wrench, it should be okay.
I have a friend who has had them for a few years, and he removes his wheel quite often, and he has never stripped the key. MOst people say kyokugens suck because the key strips.
It all depends on what you're willing to spend for lugs
