My Integra's battery died. Something happened to my cd player. I t won't work
(the cd player). It pops the cd out and says PEO. I think this is a message meaning that the disk can not be read. Does anyone know how to fix this? I do have the password but it still doesn't work. Also my friends 2001 gsr (mine is a 97 gsr) has his old stock deck. Will his 2001 deck fit in my 97 gsr deck. Will I have any mods that need to be done? Thanks ....

 

I replaced my stock tape deck with a factory cd player from a 2001 GSR. It fit without any modification whatsoever, just plugged right in.

 

Thats the security on the cd player... If the battery is disced for around 20 minutes it will stop working until you enter your cd-player code into it.. I dunno how you would get ahold of this info... but i would ask the person or place you got the car from.. it might be somewhere on the car.. like written under the hood or something... At least i think this is the prob.. it happened to my friend in his 3000gt with stock cd player.. His works fine now.. just need that little code .. Good luck man

 

I thought this was also the security code that would come up with disconnecting the battery. But if you have the code and it isn't working when you punch it in, i have no idea. Try the code again.
