beaks vs. asr rear sway kit?
I have the Beaks, they work perfect. only difference is...ASR kits brace the whole subframe. You would have to buy Beaks stress bar as an add on to do the same.
i would rather go with the ASR not just cuz i have one but i've only heard good reviews about it... but i've heard some bad stories about the beaks kit, and how it still rips the subframe
This is a good post because I was wanting to ask the same question. I have a 26mm mugen sway bar for my 96 HB, I like the price of the beaks because I can buy it now. The asr I will have to hold off another month or 2. Is a 26mm to much for beaks? Trending Topics

personally i think the itr is to big for the beaks, if you dont have the proper spring setup

I'd get the ASR personally. I'm running a beaks kit right now, but the fear of ripping out the Subframe made me disconnect an endlink. It's just not worth the risk of having a tearout. The EG/DC chassis was a much better subframe design and they can handle the beaks kit, the EKs are different so the subframe is more likely to rip.

Yup. EG/DC subframe is usually fine with a beaks kit, but the EK I would definatly recommend the ASR.

Thanks for your input on that!
I did not know that there was a differance in strength from EG/DC to the EK chassis. I guess it's like that old rule my parents have always told me "you get what you pay for"
I've always recommended ASR to all our customers. Their customer service is great, as well as the design. For the price and what they have to offer you really can't go wrong with them.
I'm with the ASR vote: The other thing to remember is that the ASR brace not only bolts to the lca bolts but also to the bolt openings for the oe swaybar and that's a three point frame tie in (on each side) as well as a larger surface to distribute the load accrost.
