Default 90 civic std cigarette lighter ?'s

I need a cigarette lighter to charge cell phone etc so i got a lighter and every time i hook it up it blows the fuse. The factory plug has 4 wires wht, blk, two reds? which ones do i use? i ve been in the junkyard all day and couldnt find any consoles with cigarette lighters so has anyone just wired it themselves to a autozone lighter? Are all cigarette lighters the same? could i have got the wrong one?

Have a extra one lying around. You can have it, just pay shipping, around 4.00-5.00 USPS. Email me oldcar@***.net if your interested. There should be a white plug that plugs into the back of the lighter and a ground wire that slides onto a metal post, sort of.
THanks, Mario

So the universal one isn't working out?

I've thought about installing one in my car since it didn't come with one either.
